With Pepsky Free CD Maker you will be able to create your data and audio CDs and DVDs in seconds with its easy, wizard-like, guided process. It allows you to burn bootable CDs and DVDs, ISO images, as well as pure audio discs (from a variety of audio formats) or data/music discs with audio files (MP3, WMA, and AAC).
The beauty of this tool lies in the way the interface guides you through the whole recording process. To burn either data or audio discs you just need to follow the program’s instructions through its simple 4-step wizard. All windows have clear instructions and explanations of their functions. Other minor utilities available in Pepsky Free CD Maker allow you to erase rewritable discs (both quick- and full-erase), and to display technical information about your drives and discs. Thus, you will be able to check which discs and operations are compatible with each of your drives, the firmware version, the maximum write and read speeds, etc.
One little thing that I find somehow confusing refers to the license needed to fully enjoy this free tool – the trial version used for this review is limited to 3 discs per type. The license is described as “free”, but the link provided takes you to the official purchase page where no link referred to this product can be found. it is a pity, as the program seems to be a good choice for those looking for an easy and well structured burning tool. |
